What is TRANSPLANT?
- TRANSPLANT is a science community project that fuels research transfer between academia and industry to maximize the impact of fundamental plant sciences.
- Researchers at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, University of Cologne and Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences have teamed up to boost the socioeconomic impact of fundamental science, foster public-private partnerships between industry and universities, and stimulate an entrepreneurial spirit among scientists.
- TRANSPLANT is hosted within CEPLAS to drive innovation creating pathways for the translation of research excellence, and is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
We support CEPLAS members in the following areas:
- Further development of the training program in the field of research transfer
- Support in establishing research cooperation projects between CEPLAS and HSRW
