Protein synthesis is a complex process that involves multiple steps and requires the coordination of many different molecules.
In my PhD project, I will be working on modelling gene expression regulation at the whole-translatome scale for plants. Ribosomal transport and regulation will be represented by the Totally Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process, using stochastic simulations in C++.
