Research focus
Our group studies the multicellular dynamics of plant developmental processes at different scales, from single-cell resolution to the tissue and whole-plant level, combining mathematical modelling, microscopy and quantitative image analysis. We focus on two different developmental processes in Arabidopsis thaliana; namely, how cells become different from one another and pattern developing tissues such as the leaf and the sepal epidermis, and how multicellular and gene expression dynamics in the shoot apical meristem influence and participate in the floral transition.
