We aim to discover mechanisms controlling plant growth in response to changing environmental conditions. Small GTPases of the ROP protein family are central regulators of cell growth in plants. Using proximitylabeling technology, we hope to identify conditional interaction networks of ROPs and thereby elucidate mechanisms of developmental plasticity and acclimatisation.
