Dr. Jesús Praena Tamayo

We aim to investigate the mechanism and conservation of roles of Trehalose-6- (Tre6P) in plant development and compare the expression patterns between perennial (Arabis alpina) and annual (Arabidopsis thaliana) model species. This project resulted from a collaboration between the groups of Dr. Franziska Fichtner from the University of Düsseldorf and Professor Dr. George Coupland from the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research.
