Planter’s Punch

Under the heading Planter’s Punch we present each month one special aspect of the CEPLAS research programme. All contributions are prepared by our early career researchers.

About the author

Dr. Marjorie Guichard is a Post Doc working in the team of Prof. Guido Grossmann at the Institute for Cell and Interaction Biology (HHU Düsseldorf). Their research partly focuses on cell morphogenesis and growth regulation in plants, in response to changing environment. The team also develops tools to facilitate the microscopic imaging of root development. Marjorie did her PhD in molecular plant biology at Université Paris Saclay in France, on the campus of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique of Gif-sur-Yvette. Beside her research work, she likes developing image analysis automation workflow, as well as tools facilitating every day’s lab work.
