About the author
Christian-Frederic Kaiser is from Germany and studied Biology at the University of Bonn majoring in Microbiology. With a bachelor thesis exploring bacterial antibiotic synthesis. Since then, he has transferred to the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf as a PhD student of the CEPLAS Gradschool situated at the Institute for Cell and Interaction Biology. His work investigates the role of cellular differentiation of Bacillus subtilis in the colonization of plant roots.
