Women in Entrepreneurship program
CEPLAS doctoral researcher Büşra Elkatmış has been selected as one of 100 early-career women researchers for the 2025 hybrid Women in Entrepreneurship program, hosted by the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) San Francisco. University of Cologne is one of DWIH’s main sponsors.
This prestigious eight-week program (running from May 6 to June 24, 2025) combines online and in-person learning experiences, equipping participants with essential entrepreneurial and presentation skills.
Program Objectives:
- Foster an entrepreneurial mindset among women in scientific research.
- Provide tools and resources to commercialize scientific ideas effectively.
- Encourage knowledge exchange between the German and U.S. innovation ecosystems.
- Offer exposure to successful female entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and beyond.
