Wolf Frommer elected to the National Academy of Sciences

The CEPLAS member is one of 120 members that have been elected in recognition of their distinguished achievements in original research.

CEPLAS member Wolf Frommer is Alexander von Humboldt Professor (HHU) and head of the Institute for Molecular Physiology. He has been elected as a new member of the highly prestigious National Academy of Sciences (NAS), USA, in recognition of his outstanding work in research. 

A total of 59 German scientists working at four German universities or at an MPI or research institute are members of the National Academy of Science.
