New research facilities for CEPLAS at HHU

Yesterday, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new PEAC research building, whose grant application was coordinated by Rüdiger Simon.

In PEAC (Plant Environmental Adaptation Center), genetically precisely defined experimental plant populations can be exposed to different but precisely controllable and dynamically variable environmental conditions. Scientists from CEPLAS will closely work together with other researchers to identify the underlying genes and to understand their functions.
