Miltos Tsiantis honored as Fellow of the Royal Society

CEPLAS Steering Committee member Miltos Tsiantis is among the over 90 scientists from around the world who have been elected as the newest Fellows of UK's national academy of sciences.

Miltos is a Director at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne. His group focuses on understanding how plant organ shape is determined and what mechanisms underlie evolutionary diversification of plant organ form. Miltos has been selected to join the Royal Society for his substantial contribution to the advancement of science. The Royal Society is dedicated to "promote, and support excellence in science and to encourage the development and use for science for the benefit of humanity".
