Eliza Loo receives Eduard Strasburger Preis

Eliza Loo is group leader at the Institute of Molecular Physiology (HHU) and studies the colonization of the plant microbiota. She discovered that the spatial distribution of a root’s excreted metabolites similarly patterns the microbial community along its length. The former CEPLAS speaker Andreas Weber, president of the German Society for Plant Sciences (DBG), awarded Eliza the Eduard Strasburger Preis at the international DBG conference in Halle.
