CEPLAS projects presented at Future Tech Fest in Düsseldorf

Two CEPLAS teams presented their projects at this year's Future Tech Fest, Germany's largest B2B start-up trade fair.

The Future Tech Fest took place at August 22 in Düsseldorf and offered all interested visitors the opportunity to learn about innovations and to network. 

The CEPLAS teams were part of a joint HHU booth organised by CEDUS (Center for Entrepreneurship Düsseldorf). Götz Hensel presented his project "Targeted mutagenesis of crop plants". Katharina Hinsen is MSc student in Philipp Westhoff's group and presented her topic "From Waste to Value: How microalgae can improve our way of recycling wastewater in a circular bioeconomy".
