CEPLAS doctoral researcher received Rudolf Mansfeld Prize 2023

Tom Winkler is doctoral researcher at the Botanical Institute in Markus Stetter's lab. He recieved the prize for his master thesis "The role of differential gene expression in metabolic changes and seed color adaptation during amaranth domestication". The award ceremony took place during the "Institutstage" at IPK in Gatersleben.
The Rudolf Mansfeld Prize has been awarded by the Association for the Promotion of Crop Plant Research Gatersleben e. V. for the best final thesis (Diploma/Master of Science) on a topic in the field of crop plant taxonomy or the study of genetic resources.
