These structured programs connect early-career female researchers with experienced mentors who are leaders in their respective fields. Mentors offer guidance, share their professional experiences, and assist mentees in navigating the complexities of academic and research careers. Additionally, the programs include workshops, seminars, and networking events designed to further enhance participants' skills and connections within the scientific community.
Please note that these mentoring programs have fixed yearly application deadlines, typically at the beginning of the academic year.
Coaching
The academic career path has many hurdles and challenges, such as the acquisition of own funding, the set up of an own research group and establishing oneself as an independent researcher within the scientific field. These professional challenges must be carefully balanced with personal life planning and responsibilities, which can vary greatly depending on one's background and individual circumstances.
In recognition of these difficulties, CEPLAS is dedicated to supporting female scientists during this critical phase. We offer financial assistance for participation in professional one-on-one coaching, tailored to provide individual career support and personal development.
