Plant Metabolism and Metabolomics Facility

Our CEPLAS Plant Metabolism and Metabolomics Laboratories for metabolic analyses are open to all CEPLAS members as well as external customers. We offer a wide range of services for the identification and quantification of metabolites from diverse biological material. The aim of the laboratories is to apply routine methods and establish new methods for the extraction and subsequent analysis of primary and secondary metabolites, mainly via liquid and gas chromatographic separation methods that are hyphenated with mass spectrometry detection.

In our Plant Metabolism and Metabolomics Laboratories we:

  • Do routine measurements of key metabolites of the primary and secondary plant metabolism and
  • Establish new methods for metabolite measurements together with our collaborators
