NRW Minister of Science at CEPLAS

CEPLAS members informed the Minister Ina Brandes about the Excellence Cluster and the current research projects.

After a tour through the greenhouses, the minister got an overview of various CEPLAS research projects. Rüdiger Simon also informed her about the current status of the new PEAC research building. CEPLAS PhD students Mary Ngigi and Kumsal Çolpan explained their research topics in the format of the Soapbox Science event they had participated in last year and emphasized the importance of science communication.
