Research Internships for undergraduate students

CEPLAS awards fellowships to undergraduate students in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Jülich to raise interest of excellent and talented students in plant sciences. Each year we offer around 12 fellowships, i.e. 3-4 week fulltime research projects in a CEPLAS laboratory to 3rd/4th semester B.Sc. Biology/Biochemistry students. Students with a background in mathematics, physics or computer science but interest in plant biology are highly welcome to join one of the interdisciplinary CEPLAS groups.

The students work for three to max. four weeks (depending on the student's preference) on a plant science topic in one of the CEPLAS working groups in Cologne, Düsseldorf or Jülich and will be supervised by a member of the respective working group. The undergraduate students get an employment contract as a student assistant covering 120 to max. 160 hours.
