Mechanisms involved in perennial life cycle of Arabis alpina: Study the role of auxin in perennial traits

Annuals complete their life cycle after reproduction whereas perennials are able to maintain growth from one year to the next through axillary branching. The aim of my project is to study the involvement of shoot branching in polycarpic growth habit of perennial plants using Arabis alpina as a model species.

Keywords expertise: plant developmental biology, perennial traits, cytology, microscopy
