Planter’s Punch
Under the heading Planter’s Punch we present each month one special aspect of the CEPLAS research programme. All contributions are prepared by our early career researchers.
About the author
Tobias Pfennig is a doctoral researcher of Anna Matuszyńska at the RWTH Aachen. He began studying general biology and got interested early in data analysis and modelling. Since joining the CEPLAS Grad School in 2020, he is focuses on plants and their ancestors, the cyanobacteria. Using experiments, mathematics, and computers he tries to get behind the governing principles of photosynthetic life.
