New publication about regulation of meristems

22/10/2021

New research published by Rüdiger Simon´s team in eLife now uncovers how secreted peptides regulate meristem size and shape.

Plant meristems maintain undifferentiated stem cells in their centre, and continuously generate new structures, such as leaves or flowers, in the periphery of meristems. New research published by Rüdiger Simon´s team in eLife now uncovers how secreted peptides, coming from the periphery (green) or the centre (magenta) coordinately regulate meristem size and shape.
