How plants get sick

In the frame of the "Kölner Kinderuni" CEPLAS member Isabel Saur explained children how plant diseases can be controlled in the future.

The "Kölner Kinderuniversität" offers many events from all of the university's faculties and aim to enable children to experience how scientists work. CEPLAS member Isabel Saur (University of Cologne) participated by offering a workshop for students in grades 5 and 6, explaining what plant diseases have to do with genes and how scientists can manage to control them in the future.
