Highly Cited Researcher 2017

The Web of Science has announced the "Highly Cited Researcher" 2017. This award recognizes leading scientists from around the world and is only awarded to researchers who are ranked in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science.

We are happy to announce that among those are three CEPLAS scientists: <link _blank internal-link internal link in current>Prof. George Coupland, Department of Plant Developmental Biology at the MPIPZ in Cologne, <link _blank internal-link internal link in current>Prof. Wolf. B. Frommer, Institute of Molecular Physiology at HHU Düsseldorf and <link _blank internal-link internal link in current>Prof. Paul Schulze-Lefert, Department of Plant Microbe Interactions at the MPIPZ in Cologne.

In total, 3400 Highly Cited Researchers were awarded in 2017, covering 21 different fields of science and social sciences.
