Start of the new "Research and Education" module for pupils and student teachers

In the frame of this year's spring course of the CEPLAS Research and Education module, four student teachers of the University of Cologne will implement a previously developed concept of inquiry-based learning on the topic of plant-microbe interactions. In total 19 students from the Ville Gymnasium Erftstadt, the Collegium Josephinum Bonn and the Ursulinenschule Hersel participate in the course at the Botanical Institute.

For the first time, a parallel course will be held by Rita Gazdag, who is currently working on her PhD thesis on Didactics in Biology at the Graduate School of the Center for Teacher Training and who will scientifically assess the developed teaching materials.
