CEPLAS Symposium 2021

16/11/2021

CEPLAS members reported on their research and took the opportunity for an exchange with other researchers on the two-day symposium.

The CEPLAS Symposium 2021 took place in a hybrid format on November 11th and 12th. All members had the choice whether to attend in person at the KOMED in Cologne or online.

The program consisted of overview presentations by the Research Area coordinators, several project presentations of the respective Research Areas and a virtual poster session where the early career researchers presented their research with posters and pitches. All contributions participated in the election for the best poster and pitch. Tatiana Stead and Kumsal Ecem Colpan, both PhD students, were awarded the prize for the best pitch. The first prize for the best poster was awarded to Pia Saake (PhD), the second to Ellen Oldenburg (PhD) and the third to Edgar Demesa Arevalo (postdoc).
