Very Young Researchers at Synthetic Microbiology

In March, a group from the local kindergarten spent a day in the lab of Jun.-Prof. Ilka Axmann. She and her group showed the little scientists the beauty of microbiology and its application in today’s life. Scientists and kids enjoyed the event, which will most likely be repeated next year.
Ilka Axmann is head of the Institute of Synthetic Biology at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
